First of all, I owe a huge apology to Ms. French. I promised a review way earlier than I’m delivering it; I had some personal matters to attend to, and while that’s no excuse, I’m happy to say that they’re all resolved and I’m back to writing reviews and reading romance like I love. Legally Yours is a new release, and it’s sequel Legally Mine is coming out this summer! If you like my review and Legally Yours, make sure to hit up the bookstores for its follow-up. Without further ado…

Writing this review was a sentimental process for me. Taking Chances by Molly McAdams was the novel that made me fall in love with romance books and fall in love with love in real life. It’s an absolutely heart-wrenching story that I won’t be able to praise enough. I hope you enjoy Chase, Brandon, and Harper’s story as much as I did and do.

I don’t know if there’s a romance lover out there who isn’t going to be intrigued by big strong men who work in some sort of security, whether it be the police, the military, or some renegade ninja club. Ozzie from the Bourbon Street Boys security falls right into that category. According to May, he probably falls more on the ninja side of things, though the boys plus Toni might put May there, as well. Do some crunches before diving into the story of Ozzie and May; you’re going to laugh so much that your abs will thank you for some prep work.

Facebook groups are absolutely great! There was a social media thread that I was participating in when I received a message from a lady saying she had some romance books she’d loved to have reviewed. Me, being the savvy blogger that I am, recognized the potential relationship in reviewing her books, so I told her to send them over. She was kind enough to ship two paperback books by Amy Rivers (this woman was a helper of Rivers’s) all the way over the Scotland. I hope you enjoy Wallflower Blooming by the one and only Amy Rivers!

Fourth book from StoryCartel! I’m becoming a regular there! Next To You by Julia Gabriel was the find this time. I’m always a sucker for materialistically perfect people with a not-so-perfect past falling in love, so the plot synopsis of this one seemed right up my alley. Curious about my view on Phlox and Jared’s story? The review is just below!

I joined Kate Tilton’s book bloggers list before Roses in Ink even launched to see if there were any unique blogging opportunities available for me there. About two weeks before my launch date, I got an email from Tarrah Anders, an author who had put her book out for review on the book bloggers list and who I had said “yes, me please!” to. She offered to have me review her book and interview her (make sure to download the interview at the bottom of the post!). I’m very excited to publish one of my first reviews through a collaboration with an author!

My Trip to Adele by Ahmad and Rana Alyaseer

That being said, all opinions are my own. The book cover, book trailer, author biography, and plot summary for My Trip to Adele are courtesy of mytriptoadele.com.

My Trip to Adele was the first I read through an official review program – how exciting! There were two romance books available through StoryCartel at the time that I logged on, and with how fast I go through books, I got both of them. I will admit, though, that I wasn’t too thrilled about My Trip to Adele from the plot summary. I wasn’t too keen on there being three plotlines at once, and the setting wasn’t one that caught my eye. Nonetheless, I picked it up, kept turning pages, and here we are! Read on for a review of My Trip to Adele by Ahmad and Rana Alyaseer.

Welcome to the world of Laramie Briscoe and her two favorite stars, Reaper and Harmony. With those names and an ironically hilarious series title like Rockin’ Country, what could go wrong? Only the Beginning is, in fact, the first book in the series 4.5 books. Better yet, the first book is absolutely free, so there’s no risk in diving headfirst into their world. Actually, after reading it, I can definitely say you’ll be doing all the winning if you choose to take the plunge.

All I Want Is You by E L Todd

When you see romance book advertised for free until the beginning of 2017, what do you do? You buy the book, of course! I saw All I Want Is You by E L Todd advertised as the first of a series available for free for a short time after I finished reading another favorite book of mine and immediately picked it up. It had a great plot summary and it was a long book, though I was slightly confused why it said it took the average reader over seven hours to finish! Nonetheless, read on if you’re curious my opinion on my first Todd novel and the story of Skye and Cayson.
